LONDON, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Brad Pitt thinks meeting Queen Elizabeth II was "just a pleasure" and one for the books, but the actor joked that his wife Angelina Jolie's new title of "dame" is not valid in the couple's household.

"We have our own pecking order at home!" Pitt joked at the London premiere of his new war drama Fury on Sunday.

"[It was] a wonderful afternoon for our family, a great honor for Angie and something we won't forget," Pitt told Us Weekly of the honor. Earlier this month, Jolie was made an honorary dame by the British monarch for her work with the U.N. toward eradicating sexual violence in war zones.

"To receive an honor related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to," Jolie said of the honor. "Working on PVSI and with survivors of rape is an honor in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine."

The actress is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Pitt and Jolie married in August after nine years together.
