"thank you to my future husband Grant," she continued. "#CUTESTEVER #demiworldtour"

According to CNN, the engagement took place during Lovato's Demi World Tour concert in Moline, Ill., where a group of fans held a sign that read "Demi I have a ring for you." The poster got Grant noticed and onto to the stage, but once he was there the former Disney star taught him how to properly propose to someone.

Seconds later Grant was on one knee asking: "Demi would you marry me?" prompting a collective "aww" for the audience. Lovato accepted the proposal and the two then kissed and hugged goodbye.

The boy's mother uploaded a clip of the moment on YouTube Sunday and explained Grant was taken to Lovato's concert for his 5th birthday.

There is no word on how Lovato's boyfriend, 34-year-old actor Wilmer Valderrama, feels about her recent engagement.
