HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 10 (UPI) -- British actor Idris Elba showed off some of his intense workout routine and its intimidating results in a video posted to Instagram illustrating how the 42-year-old is training for his upcoming film Bastille Day.

"Training for my next film ... Grinding," the star of The Wire, Luther, and unsubstantiated James Bond rumors wrote about the video.

Elba can be heard asking his trainer "how many have I got to do? Ten?" before kneeling down to perform a series of what appear to be rolling pushups.

Directed by James Watkins, Bastille Day also stars fellow murdered-off-HBO alum Richard Madden of Game of Thrones.
