Ghostbusters III has been the speculation of speculation for years, but with one tweet, Feig made fans of the beloved franchise happy.

A third film has been rumored since 2002 when IGN reviewed a 1999 screenplay reportedly penned by original Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd.

The death of Harold Ramis earlier this year led to director Ivan Reitman backing out.

No word yet on who the "hilarious women" are but Murray has a few suggestions: including Melissa McCartney and Kristin Wiig, who both worked with Feig on Bridesmaids.
