HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- While the initial teaser for Ridley Scott's upcoming biblical action-drama Exodus: Gods and Kings only hinted at the presence of a higher power in the film, the new full-length trailer makes it very clear: God will be a big part of this movie.

Led by Christian Bale as Moses, Exodus: Gods and Kings also stars Joel Edgerton, John Turturro, Aaron Paul, Ben Mendelsohn, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley.

The first official look at the film focused on Moses and Ramsey's relationship, as well as Moses' political evolution within Egypt. The teaser dealt only in implication in regard to the influence of the God portrayed in the Old Testament.

The new trailer, clocking in at over three minutes, shows Yahweh doling out rivers of blood, locusts, parted seas and more as the Jews fight for their liberation from Egypt and King Ramses.

Exodus: Gods and Kings opens in theaters December 12.
