Kristen Bell says second pregnancy is going well

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Kristen Bell says her second pregnancy is going well.

The 34-year-old actress is expecting her second child with husband Dax Shepard, and opened up about her pregnancy and daughter Lincoln in an interview with Us Weekly on Tuesday.

"Same as the first one!" she announced of her pregnancy. "Really easy, thank God. I've had a lot of friends who have had rough pregnancies, and I'm really, really thankful. People are affected differently by hormones; we're all different."

Bell and Shepard welcomed Lincoln in March 2013, and the actress admitted she isn't sure if the 17-month-old is aware she is going to be a big sister. The star praised her daughter's communication skills, however, and declared, "She's the smartest baby ever!"

"I think [she understands], but you can't be sure whats going on in her brain," she said of Lincoln. "She might not get it. She might think mommy's just gaining weight. I don't know!"

"It's the tantrum stage," she related. "But she can sign now and knows 40-50 signs! I can talk to her and she'll sign in three, four-word sentences which is really amazing. She'll come in the kitchen and be like, 'More crackers, please!' And I'm like, 'Yes, okay!' She's MENSA, without a question!"

Bell currently stars on Veronica Mars spinoff Play It Again, Dick. The web series premiered Sept. 15, and airs on CWSeed, The CW's digital network.
