LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Kelly Osbourne is reportedly having a hard time coping with the death of her Fashion Police co-host Joan Rivers and her friends fear her grieving might lead to a relapse.

Osbourne famously struggled with painkiller addiction in the past and attended rehab three times to overcome the problem. Sources close to the television personality told British magazine new! via Cover Media that, "Kelly has already said she feels adrift without Joan."

"She relied on Joan for life guidance, boyfriend advice and everything in between. Kelly has known Joan since she was a little girl and in past years has become her rock," said the insider. "Joan has never judged Kelly and has been her biggest supporter."

The Fashion Police star died on Sept. 4 after days of being in a medically induced coma following a cardiac and respiratory arrest while undergoing a scheduled throat surgery.

Osbourne remembered her late co-host over the weekend in a segment for E!'s Fashion Police: Remembering Joan Rivers special, and said: "Every moment I got to spend with her, was amazing."
