HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Three years after publicly calling Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre a "stupid little man" and getting banned from the Warner Brother Television lot, Charlie Sheen says he wants to be a part of the show's finale.

After Sheen's tabloid-grabbing fallout with Lorre, Warner Brothers, his co-stars and just about everyone involved in the production of Two and a Half Men, the show's writers killed off his character to launch its 2011-2012 season.

This minor plot point is trivial to Sheen, who says he's come up with a way to reintroduce the fictional Charlie one last time as a gesture of "goodwill and a tip of the hat to the fans."

"I've reached out to [Two and a Half Men's producers and writing staff] and they've reached back," Sheen told TV Guide.

"We're trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they figure it out like I've presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I'm available and I'm showing up early. If not, it's on them."

As for his relationship with Lorre, Sheen says there is peace between the two men "ethereally," but neither party has made amends in person.

"Ethereally we have, personally we have not. But I'm easy to grab. He was doing his job, I was doing mine. At the end of the day, the guy's a genius. Look at what he does. I don't have to spend time with him anymore for him to be brilliant. I wish him nothing but the best."

Neither Warner Brothers, CBS nor Lorre have responded to Sheen's latest comments.

Season 12 of Two and a Half Men starts Monday Oct. 30.
