Bow Wow, 'Love & Hip Hop' star Erica Mena are engaged

ATLANTA, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Bow Wow and Erica Mena are engaged.

The 27-year-old rapper and 26-year-old Love & Hip Hop: New York star announced their engagement at the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards on Saturday. When asked by E! if Bow Wow is her boyfriend, Mena replied, "Uhh... he's actually my fiancé." The rapper later confirmed the news by posting a photo of the engagement ring and his diamond-encrusted Rolex on Instagram.

Bow Wow, who prefers to be called by his given name, Shad Moss, met Mena while he was hosting BET's 106 & Park. The couple shared a kiss on the set's couch, and have been together for roughly six months. Mena joined VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York in 2013, and Moss recently landed a role on new CSI spinoff CSI: Cyber on CBS.
