WELLINGTON, New Zealand, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer opened up about her traveling tips during a style Q&A with Kiwi publication Stuff.

"Because of my job I get a lot of opportunity to grab a few days here and there in many cool cities for press commitments, magazine shoots and premieres -- Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Paris, Stockholm, New York, Berlin," Domer said when asked what kind of traveler she is. "I always try to get to a gallery or museum if there's time.

As for the "two things" she cannot live without, Dormer revealed she always travels with her yoga mat and a "great hat."

"First of all, my yoga mat comes everywhere. Keeps me stretched out after sitting still on all those planes, trains and road journeys," she explained.

You need a great hat too. If it's hot it'll keep the sun off your face, if it's cold it will keep the heat in, if you need to sleep you pull it down over your eyes and if your hair is starting to get a bit greasy from all the traveling, it hides it when you're in desperate need of a shower!

Asked about the most "amazing" shoot location her HBO show has taken her to, Dormer said it was Dubrovnik in Croatia.

"It's such a stunning country with lots of good watersports there as well," she shared. "Just a beautiful, beautiful place."

In addition to playing the beautiful Margaery Tyrell in GOT Dormer will soon star as Cressida in the last two installments of the Hunger Games saga Mockingjay Part 1 and 2.
