LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Eva Mendes has reportedly welcomed a baby girl with on-and-off boyfriend Ryan Gosling. Sources tell Us Weekly, Mendes gave birth on Sept. 12, about two months after news broke that she was seven months pregnant.

"She's been ready for motherhood for a while now. To be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her," a source said of the 40-year-old actress' pregnancy in July.
Both Mendes and Gosling have kept a low profile since rumors about the pregnancy began, but the day after the reports hit the web, the Urban Legends star was seen going through great lengths to cover the front side of her body from paparazzi.
Mendes has not attended any public events since Feburary of this year. During a visit on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that month, the actress laughed off rumors that she was pregnant and had broken up with Gosling.
Later in July, reports surfaced that Gosling was "doting" on a pasta-craving Mendes by getting the groceries and "cooking her meals."
"Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be," an insider said of the actor.
Mendes and Gosling began dating in 2011 after co-starring alongside Bradley Cooper in The Place Beyond the Pines.
