Gwyneth Paltrow teams up with Diane von Furstenberg for GOOP collection

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Gwyneth Paltrow and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg have consciously coupled to create a seven-piece collection for the actress' lifestyle blog, GOOP.

The capsule collection became available on Paltrow's website Wednesday and it features two wrap dresses, a tuxedo jumpsuit, two clutches, a pair of sunglasses and a python scarf. The pieces range in price from $158 to $598. One of the dresses is already sold out.

"Diane epitomizes the 21st century archetype of a woman," Paltrow, 41, said. "She is powerful as she is soft, as entrepreneurial as she is maternal, as free as she is disciplined."

The Iron Man star and von Furstenberg celebrated the launch of their collection with a garden party held at Paltrow's estate on Tuesday. Hollywood star Cameron Diaz, who attended the event in the line's tuxedo jumpsuit, was among the guests featured at the event.

According to Us Weekly, the jumpsuit was inspired by a look Paltrow wore to to the opening of DVF's Journey of a Dress Exhibition earlier this year.
