Khloe Kardashian, French Montana reportedly on a break

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Khloe Kardashian and beau French Montana are reportedly on a break.

The 30-year-old reality star and 29-year-old rapper have been inseparable in the past few months, but sources say Montana became too "needy" in the relationship.

"They are on a break," an insider told Us Weekly. "The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back."

"It grated on her that he became so dependent on her," a different source added.

Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner, and stepfather Bruce Jenner allegedly "did not approve" of the rapper, and were "very skeptical" of his intentions. Montana told Billboard in August he wants "to capitalize" on media attention, and Kardashian responded by tweeting she "was the first one to see it" but "just [doesn't] care."

Kardashian and Montana have been linked since April, and went public with their relationship in July. The reality star was married to Lamar Odom for over four years, but filed for divorce in December 2013.
