LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- Molly Ringwald took to Twitter last week to share a photo of her oldest daughter posing as her character from Sixteen Candles.
"She can't escape her mom, even when "back to school" shopping at Target," the Breakfast Club star captioned a snapshot of her and Panio Gianopoulos' 11-year-old daughter Mathilda posing next to a poster from Sixteen Candles.

The 46-year-old actress starred in the iconic coming-of-age film along Michael Schoeffling and Anthony Michael Hall. The film was released in 1984.
After starring on the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager from 2008 to 2013, Ringwald is returning to the big screen and is scheduled to star in Wishin' and Hopin' in 2014 and in Jem and the Holograms in 2016.
