NEW YORK, July 31 (UPI) -- NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams reported on his daughter Allison's casting in the Peter Pan live-action performance.

He remained professional and did not mention their relationship, but couldn't resist putting in a personal note from her family.

"Family members confirm that she's been rehearsing for this role since the age of three and they look forward to seeing her fly," said Williams as a picture of Allison in a Peter Pan costume flashed across the screen.

The Girls star will play Peter Pan on NBC December 4.
