NEW YORK, July 14 (UPI) -- Months before her television return, Katherine Heigl addressed reports that she was 'difficult' to work with while speaking with reporters during Sunday's 2014 TCAs.

In September of 2013, the former Grey's Anatomy star was slammed in a Hollywood Reporter piece about the demise of her career. The article quoted industry insiders as saying Heigl's "desperately difficult situations" cost time on set "every single day" and she simply was "not worth it."

"I can only say that I certainly don't see myself as being difficult, I would never intend to be difficult," said the 27 Dresses star when a journalist mentioned the report. "If I have ever disappointed somebody, it was never intentional."

Heigl, who recently admitted she might've overdone it with romantic comedies after leaving Grey's in 2010, will return to television as the star of the NBC political drama, State Of Affairs. In addition to her starring role on the series, the Life As We Know It actress and her mother, Nancy, will co-executive produce the show.
