NEW YORK, July 8 (UPI) -- Katie Holmes posed in nothing but a pair of high wasted jeans for a photo spread that will appear in the upcoming August issue of Glamour magazine. During her interview with the fashion glossy, Holmes, 35, discussed her lack of time for dating and her love of jeans.

"I am really focused on motherhood and work right now," Holmes said when asked if she was seeing anyone.
"I think you don't know -- I didn't know how much love I had in me. It's overwhelming," she said of her feelings for her 8-year-old daughter with Tom Cruise, Suri. "Every day I discover more about this spectacular human being I get to be the mother of."
As for her most recent project, The Giver, a film in which she co-stars alongside Meryl Streep, Holmes said it was a "dream come true."
"When the cameras rolled, [Streep] was spot-on and such a pro. It was just a thrill to walk on set with her," she added.
On the subject of jeans -- the actress covers the magazine in a fitted pair in addition to her topless shot -- the Dawson's Creek star says she's "always comfortable" in them.
"I feel like I can really do anything when I'm in them," she adds.
The August issue of Glamour hits stands July 15.
