Courtney Love is joining 'Sons of Anarchy'

The grunge rocker will play a pre-school teacher for "Sons of Anarchy's" seventh and final season.

LOS ANGELES, July 8 (UPI) -- Sons of Anarchy has hired Courtney Love for a "pivotal role" in the FX series' final season.

The 49-year-old grunge rocker and wife of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain will reportedly play Ms. Harrison, the pre-school teacher of Jax's (Charlie Hunnam) son Abel.

Love earned a Golden Globe nomination for her 1996 role in The People vs. Larry Flynt and has starred in films like Man on the Moon and Trapped.

She's signed for a multi-episode arc in Sons of Anarchy, which returns this fall.
