LOS ANGELES, July 3 (UPI) -- Lori Loughlin took to Instagram last week to share a blast from the past picture of herself and John Stamos as teenagers.

"Two teenagers long before Full house. @johnstamos #generalhospital #theedgeofnight," the 49-year-old actress captioned the black and white pic.

Loughlin's caption referenced the time she played Jody Travis on The Edge of Night and Stamos played singer Blackie Parrish on General Hospital in 1983. The two eventually co-starred as Uncle Jessie and Aunt Becky from 1987 to 1995 in the ABC hit series, Full House.

While the pair never dated in real life, and Loughlin is happily married to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, the actors have been outspoken about what could've happened between them. Stamos declared last year that Loughlin was "the one who got away," and the actress responded by saying the two never got together because of timing.
