NEW YORK, June 30 (UPI) -- Amanda Bynes is no longer facing charges in her 2013 pot arrest as the case has been dismissed following the actress' recent good behavior.

The 28-year-old fashion merchandising student was arrested on May 23, 2013 on charges of marijuana possession, reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence after police where called to her Manhattan apartment following reports that she was seen smoking a joint in the lobby.

Once officers arrived at the scene, Bynes had already gone up to her apartment where she reportedly threw a bong out of the window in an attempt to hide evidence. Two days after the arrest Bynes denied any wrongdoing and said she had thrown out a vase instead.

The former Nickelodeon star's attorney Gerald Shargel accepted an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal from a New York court back in January, stating that the case could go away if Bynes stayed out of trouble and attended counseling for six months.
