BEDFORD, N.Y., June 29 (UPI) -- Olivia Palermo, style blogger, reality star and socialite, recently wed her longtime boyfriend, German model Johannes Huebl in a small ceremony in Bedford, N.Y., she announced Saturday on her website.

"We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends. Bedford is such an amazing and romantic countryside," Palermo said of the wedding.

Palermo, 28, and Huebl, who have been together for six years, wed in a "quiet park." The former City star wore a cream cashmere sweater, white shorts and a tulle skirt by Carolina Herrera.

"I wanted the makeup to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. my hair was in an uncontrived Pony Tail, one of my favorite personal looks," Palermo said of her wedding-day look.

Palermo, who's known for her sophisticated style, told Brides last May that she wouldn't be opting for the usual wedding dress.

"You're not going to see me in a huge cupcake dress. As beautiful as they are, they're just not me."
