GRASSE, France, June 28 (UPI) -- Actor Rob Lowe and his family were rescued from their vacation home in Grasse, France, after heavy rainfall caused damaging floods.
The flood waters submerged the first floor of the family's home, an Instagram post by Rob's son, Johnny Lowe. The image has since been deleted.

The family did share a couple other photos of the scary situation.

"This is is right outside the house. Was twice as high at the worst, just before sunrise," the caption on Rob's photo said.
"Water rising like that can be terrifying," a local official told People magazine. "There's only one rescue station in Grasse, and this storm required assistance from several other regional units. We were called out on a lot of emergency rescues yesterday."
