NEW YORK, June 27 (UPI) -- Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are very excited about their upcoming nuptials, but they're not sharing any of details.

While speaking about the anticipated event at the New York premiere of Theroux's new HBO series, The Leftovers, the actor said he and Aniston are "so happily engaged."

"You guys are in more of a rush than we are," he told Extra. "We have hot feet -- but we're not gonna let you guys know [when the big day is]!"

The 42-year-old star also discussed his Leftovers character during the interview, explaining he plays a powerless police chief.

"He's a chief of police that's not necessarily in charge," Theroux shared. "He's the guy trying to bring the stick down on the back of his own town."

Theroux and Aniston became engaged in August 2012 claiming at the time they already felt married.

The Leftovers premiers Sunday at 10 p.m. on HBO.
