Remini rose to fame for playing the main character's wife on CBS's '90s sitcom The King of Queens. However, the 44-year-old actress has become best known for her very-public exit from the church of Scientology. The first episode of her upcoming reality series will reportedly focus on a party she and Pagan decide to throw for friends who stood by them after they left the church.

"I'm so happy to be opening my home to TLC and to be sharing my family with you," Remini said during Tuesday's announcement. "Beware -- In these last 13 weeks of working on the show, my mother and stepfather already feel they are the true talent and breakouts of the show and expect to be offered sitcoms."
