Hayden Panettiere shows off her baby bump in a crop top

PORTO CERVO, Italy, June 24 (UPI) -- Hayden Panettiere enjoyed vacation time in Italy over the weekend.

The pregnant 24-year-old actress was spotted in loose navy pants and a crop top that showed off her baby bump Saturday. She and fiancé Wladimir Klitschko were on a stroll in Porto Cervo, an Italian seaside resort in northern Sardinia.

Panettiere is in her second trimester, and poked fun at her changing body Monday on Twitter. "Didn't know paparazzi traveled with a carnival fun house mirror app on their cameras : / #whoknew!" she writes.

The actress and boxing star Klitschko got engaged in October 2013, and news of their pregnancy broke in May. Panettiere expressed her desire for children in an interview with Glamour in 2013, saying, "I feel like I was born to be a mother."

"Sometimes people speak about [having kids] like, 'Your life ends -- you're never going to be able to do anything again!' And I'm like, 'What are you talking about?' Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing," she shared. "There's nothing that I feel like I can't accomplish while having children in my life."
