LITTLE ROCK, Ark., June 22 (UPI) -- "19 Kids and Counting" star Jill Duggar, 23, married fiancé Derick Dillard, 25, before family and friends in Springdale, Ark., on Saturday.

Jill, Jim Bob and Michelle's second eldest daughter, spoke with Dillard online before she met him face-to-face for the first time in Nepal, where he was doing missionary work. They became engaged last March.

Jill and Derick, both devout Christians, saved their first kiss for their wedding day.

"We're married!!!" Duggar tweeted Sunday.

"Can't wait to marry the most wonderful girl in the whole world in just 12 hrs!! Praise The Lord!!" Dillard tweeted Saturday before the wedding.

Jim Bob told People on Sunday that it was hard saying goodbye to his first daughter to get married. Jim Bob's eldest son, Josh, married back in 2008.

"It really hit me that Jill was leaving as she was packing her bag the other night," Jim Bob said. "We all realized she was really leaving. We are so glad that Derick is an answer to her prayers. It's an emotional time, but a joyful time."
