AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, June 21 (UPI) -- Dutch actress Nicolette Van Dam is in a bit of hot water after posting a badly-Photoshopped image of Colombian soccer players appearing to snort vanishing spray off a soccer field as if it was cocaine.

It seems as though the actress got caught up World Cup fever when she posted the photo to Twitter with the caption "Colombian Wall," playing on Colombia's reputation for being a producer of cocaine.

It also makes a reference to the newly introduced vanishing spray being used during World Cup games.

The offensive tweet, which features players Falcao Garcia and James Rodriguez, has since been removed from Van Dam's Twitter account, but not before Colombia's UNICEF branch got upset about it.

Van Dam took to Twitter again, this time to apologize for her faux pas.

She has since resigned from her position as a UNICEF ambassador.
