LOS ANGELES, June 17 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services has reportedly cleared Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith of wrongdoing, after an investigation into a controversial Instagram photo of their 13-year-old daughter Willow Smith.

"No evidence presented that Willow has ever been in any danger around Moises or that she has ever been physically or emotionally abused," an official source told Radar on Monday.

Last month, Child Protective Services launched a probe into a viral photo of Willow, who was captured laying in bed with a shirtless 20-year-old actor named Moises Arias.

Arias removed the black-and-white snap from his Instagram page, but not before it had garnered widespread media criticism and official attention.

Pinkett Smith maintained that there was "nothing sexual about that picture or that situation."

"You guys are projecting your trash onto it," she said. "You're acting like covert pedophiles and that's not cool."
