NEW YORK, June 16 (UPI) -- Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are ready to start a family.

Sources close to the couple told OK! Magazine that the former Gossip Girl star, 26, and Reynolds, 37, have been toying with the idea of having children.

"Her baby hormones are going crazy," the insider said.

According to Cover Media, Lively's baby fever comes at the perfect time given that her next film, The Age of Adaline, is currently in post-production and won't be out for another year, leaving the blonde beauty with a lot of time on her hands.

"Blake grew up in a big family, so she wants more than one!" the source added.

Lively has spoken about her love for children in the past even telling Allure magazine in 2012 that she'd "always wanted a big family."

"Oh I'd have 30 children," she said at the time.

Lively and Reynolds tied the knot in a very private ceremony at a plantation in Charleston, South Carolina in 2012. The two met on the set of the 2010 film Green Lantern and began dating in October of 2011.
