LOS ANGELES, May 14 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez's management has stepped forward to deny In Touch magazine's claims the singer was pregnant and had a miscarriage in 2012.

The latest issue of the tabloid is covered by a photo of Gomez, 21, with the title "Pregnant and Alone." "She wanted that baby. She was convinced it was meant to be and that it was a sign that she and Justin should be together forever," the tabloid quotes a source as saying.

The story also claims Bieber's team "felt it would ruin his career because at the time he had a clean image."

Gomez' rep told Us Weekly that the reports are "100 percent fictional" and that the "Come and Get It" singer entered rehab in February to "get herself together."
