Pippa Middleton debuts short hairstyle at London event

LONDON, May 9 (UPI) -- Pippa Middleton debuted a new short hairstyle Thursday at the annual Waitrose Summer Party in London.

Kate Middleton's younger sister attended the event in a lace emerald green Tabitha Webb dress, which she accessorized with a nude clutch, pointy-toe nude heels and gold jewelry.

The 30-year-old author and party planner looked slim and elegant in the dress, which wasn't quite as fitted as the the bridesmaid gown that made her famous when her sister wed Prince William in 2011.

In February, Middleton addressed the infamous dress that became a talking point after the wedding saying she was "glad it fitted," but that "in ­retrospect it fitted a little too well."

Other personalities at Thursday's event included British TV presenters Ben Fogle and Steve Jones and radio host Lisa Snowdon.
