NEW YORK, May 4 (UPI) -- Though Mick Jagger and his family laid L'Wren Scott to rest at a Los Angeles funeral service last March, the Rolling Stones frontman and a slew of celebrity friends paid homage to the late designer at a Manhattan memorial service on Friday.

The memorial reportedly included a musical tribute from Jagger, who sang Bob Dylan classic, "Just Like a Woman."

"The most touching moment was when Mick sang the Bob Dylan song for L’Wren. The lyrics were so beautiful and so appropriate. It was deeply moving," a source told Page Six.

The ceremony took place at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Midtown. Julianne Moore, Martin Scorsese, Baz Luhrmann, Sarah Jessica Parker, Vogue's Anna Wintour, Meg Ryan and Renee Zellweger were among the attendees.

Scott's brother, Randy Bambrough, also spoke at the service. Jagger's grandchildren, Mazie and Zak, read Psalm 23, while Lisa Fischer, an R&B vocalist and prominent Rolling Stones back-up singer, performed "Amazing Grace."

Scott was found dead of an apparent suicide in her New York City apartment last March. She was 49.
