NEW YORK, April 30 (UPI) -- Dancing With the Stars contestant Amy Purdy continued to update her fans via Twitter following her Monday night hospitalization.

"So, Looks like I have a rib out of place and my muscles are in spasm," Purdy wrote to her 31,000 followers. "I am being very proactive in healing up so I can continue this journey."

Purdy, a paralympian snowboarder, was rushed to the hospital before Monday's DWTS episode came to an end when her "back cracked and it just seized up" after facing the judges.

The 34-year-old has been keeping fans updated via Twitter since her hospitalization and encouraging them to "keep the positive healing thoughts and votes coming!!!"

Purdy is paired with veteran Derek Hough. It's still unclear if she'll be able to compete in next week's episode.
