The duo reportedly split before the opening of Braff's latest Broadway gig Bullets Over Broadway on April 10. Sources tell Page Six that "Taylor wanted to get married," and the Garden State star was not ready to take that step.
Braff has reportedly been enjoying the single life, and has been spotted at several hot spots since the split.
The 39-year-old actor's rep confirmed the news, saying the two remain friendly.
“Zach and Taylor broke up over a month ago. They are continuing their friendship but are no longer a couple,” said the rep.
“Zach has been attached to the [show] and involved with its development for over two years. He chose to do it because it has been a lifelong dream of his to be a part of a Broadway musical,” she continued.
In addition to his participation in the Woody Allen musical, for which Braff is a potential Tony nominee, the actor will next star in the drama he directed and wrote, Wish I Was Here.
