Tila Tequila opens up about her pregnancy

LOS ANGELES, April 24 (UPI) -- Happy mother-to-be Tila Tequila says her baby has saved her life.

The 32-year-old model and former A Shot at Love reality star revealed she is pregnant on Facebook Sunday. Tequila tells Us Weekly that although she is no stranger to "hurtful, embarrassing and sometimes erratic" behavior, her pregnancy has helped her do a "total 180."

"It has been quite a painful journey for me, and I never thought I was going to make it out alive," she admits. "Now these tears I cry are of joy, and no longer of sadness." After so many "traumatic years" in the spotlight, Tequila says she feels "finally healed."

"I truly feel that my baby has saved my life," she asserts. "I will do whatever it takes to give my little baby the whole entire world!"

"I never knew such a love like this could exist, but I guess motherhood can truly change some people," she continues. "I know it has definitely changed me ... I just want my baby to be proud of me and to know how much I love him or her."

"To love someone else unconditionally is one of the best feelings in the entire world," Tequila concludes. "I hope I will have plenty more pregnancies to come."
