NEW YORK, April 23 (UPI) -- Macklemore is quite pleased with his new Air Jordan sneakers.

"I'm proud to announce the unveiling of my "Northwest King Salmon" Melo's," Macklemore writes. "Courtesy of @jumpman23 and myself. Never dreamed I'd have an opportunity like this."

The Jordan Brand gifted the rapper with the shoes to celebrate his and Ryan Lewis' performance at the Jordan Brand Classic All-American game in Brooklyn, New York on Friday evening. Macklemore was able to take a selfie with Michael Jordan himself at the event.

"The greatest ever," he tags the photo. "#jordan #selfiedondada."
