LOS ANGELES, April 17 (UPI) -- Seb Bishops, the CEO of Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle website GOOP, has resigned from the site.

"A week and a half ago, he abruptly resigned from GOOP," a source told Us Weekly. "It's really suspicious -- I think something weird is going on with GOOP."

Page Six reported Wednesday that Bishop left the site over the "conscious uncoupling" post, where Paltrow announced her separation from husband of nine years, Chris Martin.

"[Bishop and Paltrow] disagreed on the direction of Goop, partly that she used the Web site as vehicle for her personal life, and the 'conscious uncoupling' announcement," an insider said.

Paltrow is currently in the process of moving GOOP's offices from London, where she used to live with Martin, to Los Angeles. A rep for the site told Page Six that Bishop's departure had nothing to do with the conscious uncoupling post, but that he "decided not to relocate his family to Los Angeles."
