LOS ANGELES, April 16 (UPI) -- Tori Spelling publicly addresses husband Dean McDermott's infidelity in her first interview since the scandal.

The 40-year-old actress opened up to Us Weekly about the affair, and says her husband's cheating confession "completely broke" her heart. McDermott admitted to the affair in January, and checked himself into a rehab facility soon after in order to "get help" and "become the husband and father [his] family deserves."

"He was my soulmate," Spelling says. "It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship."

The couple have been married since May 2006 and have four children together: Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn. A new docu-series, True Tori, will document their recent marriage crisis and their attempt to recover from the cheating scandal.

"I feel so judged," Spelling continues. "But it's not black and white."

The actress elaborates more on her decision to air the series in the April 18 issue of Us Weekly. True Tori will debut at 10 p.m. ET April 22 on the Lifetime channel.
