LONDON, April 15 (UPI) -- Cheryl Cole goes blonde in a new advert for L'Oréal hair dye.

The 30-year-old singer and fashionista's hair is usually brown, but she sports a blonde dip dye for the brand's Feria Go Louder campaign.

The star performs a sexy dance number in front of a wall of speakers for the commercial spot. She whips her hair about wildly as text intermittently proclaims "go louder," "extreme dip dye," and "color power."

Cole first came to fame in late 2002 when she appeared on the English reality show Popstars: The Rivals. She became involved with the girl group Girls Aloud through the show, and later embarked on a solo career.

The singer became a judge on the U.K. version of The X Factor in 2008. Cole recently announced that she will return as a judge for the show's eleventh season.
