LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- A new one-minute clip of the upcoming film The Fault In Our stars was unveiled Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles.

The clip stars Shailene Woodley as Hazel Grace Lancaster and Ansel Elgort as Augustus Waters as they have their first conversation since meeting at a support group for kids with cancer. In the scene the duo discusses smoking and metaphors.

"I've never lit one," Elgort's character says as he puts a cigarette in his mouth. "It's a metaphor you see? You put the thing that does the killing right between your teeth, but you never give it the power to kill you."

The Fault in Our Stars is based on author John Green's bestselling novel of the same name. The film revealed its first trailer in late January and its scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, June 6.

Woodley and Elgort also co-star as brother and sister in the upcoming Divergent saga.
