"I've never lit one," Elgort's character says as he puts a cigarette in his mouth. "It's a metaphor you see? You put the thing that does the killing right between your teeth, but you never give it the power to kill you."

The Fault in Our Stars is based on author John Green's bestselling novel of the same name. The film revealed its first trailer in late January and its scheduled to hit theaters on Friday, June 6.

Woodley and Elgort also co-star as brother and sister in the upcoming Divergent saga.
