After thanking crew members and fans, the 21-year-old actor payed respects to Hoffman, who played Plutarch Heavensbee in the franchise.
"It was so cool to have Philip in our movies. He's one of the actors I've looked up to my entire life," Hutcherson said. "I know if Philip were here he would think this was really cool."
"We think about him every day on set, so wherever he is, this goes out to him, too."
Hoffman was found dead in his NYC apartment on February 2. An autopsy later revealed the actor died of an "accidental acute mixed-drug intoxication, including heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines and amphetamine."
The 46-year-old actor was finishing his scenes for the last installment of the Hunger Games saga, Mockingjay Part 2 and was set to direct Ezekiel Moss, a ghost story starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, before his death.
