NEW YORK, April 10 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan opened up about sobriety and working with Oprah Winfrey during her visit to Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday.

While addressing her new sober lifestyle and her participation in OWN's docuseries Lindsay, the 28-year-old actress told Letterman that her "life is in a good place."

On the subject of her reality series and the show's producer, Winfrey, Lohan suggested that they should call her. It took a little cheering from the audience to convince Letterman to make the call, but he eventually gave in and got Winfrey on the line.

"Yes, could I speak to Oprah Winfrey, please ?... Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan’s secretary," he said imitating a woman's voice.

After Winfrey asked, "Who is this?" Letterman gave up and confessed his identity.

"Oh, my God. Very good Dave," she responded. "The David Letterman who's retiring?"

The trio later gushed about Lohan's recovery and how far she's come since leaving rehab in August 2013. You can listen to their conversation in the clip below.
