Greninja, Charizard join other Pokemon -- Pikachu, Lucario -- on Nintendo's "Super Smash Bros."

KYOTO, Japan, April 9 (UPI) -- Pokemon characters Greninja and Charizard are set to make their debut on the latest offering of Nintendo's fighting franchise, Super Smash Bros.

The game, playable on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, already features Pokemon legend Pikachu and Lucario.

Items like Master Balls in the game allow players to summon other, unplayable Pokemon, like Arceus, Meowth, Electrode, Eevee, Staryu, Metagross, Fennekin, Meloetta, Gogoat, Entei, Deoxys, Palkia, Kyurem, Victini, Keldeo and Xerneas.

The announcement was made Tuesday at the end of video presentation on the new Super Smash Bros.
