NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Comedians Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey may reunite for the upcoming comedy The Nest.

Fey is already attached to star in the new film, and a source tells The Wrap that Poehler is in final negotiations to join the cast. The two actresses are friends and have collaborated many times, including on Saturday Night Live, Baby Mama, and the 2013 and 2014 Golden Globes.

Fey and Poehler would play sisters who throw one last party together at their childhood home after they discover their parents have put the house up for sale. The story was written by Paula Pell and will be directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect). Fey and Poehler would serve as producer and executive producer themselves.

Universal Pictures will distribute the film, and plans to start production in New York this June.
