Katy Perry dyes her hair 'slime green'

LOS ANGELES, April 8 (UPI) -- Katy Perry debuted her new spring look on Instagram Monday, taking to the image sharing site to post a picture of her new "slime green" hair.

"SLIME GREEN FOR SPRING by my bb's @neeenaboo & @brantmayfield at the @mcmillansalon," Perry captioned the pic of her new look.

The 29-year-old singer kept her new do rather tame opting for an ombre look rather than fully coloring her naturally blonde hair green.

While the "Dark Horse" singer has been rocking conservatively dark locks as of late, Perry has experimented with blue, purple, and pink hair in the past.
