See Bruce Springsteen cover Van Halen's 'Jump' in Dallas

DALLAS, April 7 (UPI) -- Bruce Springsteen opened the first American show of his High Hopes tour with a rousing rendition of Van Halen classic, "Jump," in honor of the NCAA's March Madness Music Festival.

Springsteen last toured the United States in late 2012, but has since taken his band on the road around the world in support of his 2014 album, High Hopes.

His tribute to Van Halen is the latest in a recent line of 1980s rock covers. The Boss delighted Australian audiences in February when he opened multiple gigs with AC/DC's "Highway to Hell."
