TOMS RIVER, N.J., April 4 (UPI) -- JWoww recently showed off her baby bump in a simple white shirt and jeans paired with sky-high red heels.

The 28-year-old mother-to-be looked happy and healthy when she was spotted outside a New Jersey nail salon earlier this week. The Jersey Shore star had announced her pregnancy in December, and revealed in January the baby is a girl.

JWoww, born Jennifer Farley, got engaged to fiancé Roger Mathews in September 2012. The baby will be the couple's first child.

Jersey Shore co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi announced her own pregnancy on Friday. She and fiancé Jionni LaValle already have one child together, 19-month-old son Lorenzo.

A defensive Snooki took to her blog after people immediately began to criticize her second pregnancy. She says some accuse her of getting pregnant to be "selfish" and to take the "shine" away from JWoww.

"I would never try to 'outshine' her," Snooki writes. "We have a true friendship that I will cherish forever, and getting pregnant just to outshine my best friend is absolutely absurd and disgusting."
