Nigella Lawson admitted her use of cocaine during the trial of her former personal assistant for theft.

Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson was barred from boarding a U.S. bound flight because she failed to meet "admissibility standards."

Lawson was about to board a flight from London's Heathrow airport to Los Angeles when she was blocked from boarding the flight. She had gotten past security with no incident and was stopped at the gate. Lawson had admitted to cocaine use but was never arrested or tried, but her admission is enough for the U.S. to prohibit her from entering the country.

This could be a problem for Lawson as she works as a judge on the cooking talent show The Taste, which is taped in the U.S. Lawson can appeal to have the ban lifted. Other celebrities barred from the U.S. include Boy George and the late Amy Winehouse.
