April 1 (UPI) -- Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne decided to fight each other over being the most famous person in Canada for April Fool's day.

In a clip of the alleged brawl, posted on both singers' Instagram accounts, Cyrus and Lavigne get into it after the "Wrecking Ball" crooner claims that even though she's not Canadian she is the most famous person in the Great White North.

In addition to their fight, the singers posed for several "April's Fool's" pictures in which they hug, read a fake magazine, scream and wrestle. Both ladies are seen wearing their typical attires in the pictures, which for Lavigne means a black top and pants, and for Cyrus means a Rastafarian-striped onesie with a marijuana-leaf on the front.

Cyrus, 21, is currently in Canada for her Bangerz tour.
